Reciting any Kavach 1000 times leads to accomplishment. Recitation should be done while sitting on a blanket or mischief. The lamp should remain lit as far as possible till the ritual is completed. Time should be fixed for completing 1000 times of any Kavach ritual, accordingly the ritual should be completed in the same period. Night-time is considered to be the main factor for attainment of accomplishment. Therefore, in the quiet atmosphere of the night, recite by lighting fragrant incense-lamps etc. It is best to recite in the morning facing the east direction or in the evening facing the north direction. First, salute the Guru with 'Om Guruve Namah' and meditate on the Guru in the head.
