जनसमाज में पुराणोक्त भावी घटनाओं के प्रति विशेष आकर्षण है । प्रश्न यह है कि भावी घटनाएँ कहाँ से उत्पन्न हुई , इस पर तर्क करना व्यर्थ है तथा भविष्य पर दृष्टि रखना ज्ञानमय है । पुराण साहित्य , तर्क अथवा प्रमाण द्वारा जाँचने का विषय नहीं है । इनमें घटित घटना या आगे वाली जो घटनाएँ होने की कल्पना की गई है , उन पर ध्यान देना तथा घटित घटना के आधार पर अपने आप को सम्भालना ही विशेष लाभदायक है । क्योंकि इसका निर्माण अल्पशिक्षित या अशिक्षित समुदाय को धर्म , ज्ञान , कर्म , नीति , चरित्र , मर्यादा , सद्व्यवहार सम्बन्धी सर्वकर्मों की प्रेरणा देने के लिए किया गया है । जिन लोगों को कतिपय कारणों से पढ़ने - लिखने का सौभाग्य नहीं प्राप्त हुआ है , वह लोग भी सत्संग , लीला , कथा , कहानी के द्वारा सुनकर उचित - अनुचित समझकर अच्छाइयों को ग्रहण करने हेतु ; यह पुराण रचा गया है । In the public society, there is a special attraction towards the Puranic future events. The question is that it is pointless to argue on where future events originated, and it is wise to keep an eye on the future. Puranic literature is not a subject to be checked by logic or evidence. It is especially beneficial to pay attention to the events that happened in these or the events that have been imagined to happen in the future and to take care of oneself on the basis of the incident that happened. Because it has been created to inspire the less educated or uneducated community to do all the deeds related to religion, knowledge, action, policy, character, dignity, good behavior. Those people who have not got the privilege of reading and writing due to certain reasons, those people also listen through satsang, leela, katha, story, to accept the good and take it as right and wrong; This Purana has been composed.
